FIELD ADMINISTRATIVE & LOGISTICS ASSISTANT - DOUALA, CAMEROON - FULL TIME
Metabiota Cameroon seeks to hire a Field Administrative & Logistics Assistant for an HIV military-based funded project from DHAPP-PEPFAR. The position will be based in Douala, Cameroon and will cover the Littoral and Southwest regions.

About the Position:
This is a full-time position. Working under direct supervision of the Regional Technical Advisor, the Field Administrative & Logistics Assistant will perform all necessary administrative and logistics tasks necessary for project implementation in the region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provide logistical and administrative support for the DHAPP PEPFAR project
•Assist in the implementation of the project per the DHAPP PEPFAR project scope of work
•Use elaborated tools to record and document project administrative and logistics activities
•Assist in the preparation of project events and/or field activities
•Help maintain reference materials and project support materials for DHAPP PEPFAR
•Support reporting requirements though the development of administrative and logistical components related to DHAPP PEPFAR’s activities (for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports)
•Manage project field accounting and payments at the regional level, including reporting
•Prepare justifications and reports to be submitted to the project headquarter office in Yaoundé for replenishment;
•Manage project field logistics and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
•Prepare new requests and liaise with the central office in Yaoundé for replenishment
•Undertake other duties as required by the Project Regional Technical Advisor and other authorized project lead team members
Skills and Experience required:
•2+ years’ experience in administrative assistant role
•Ability to work in a multicultural environment
•Demonstrated management and leadership skills
Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in administration and accounting
•Good written and spoken communication skills in English and French is a plus
Additional Information:
Travel: In-country travel will be required.
Salary and benefits: Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience, within approved program budgets.
Effective start date: October 1, 2019. Selected candidates may, subject to their availability, perform a paid two-month field assignment from August – September 2019.
Duration of Contracts: One-year renewable, subject to performance and availability of funding.
